CONSIGNMENT HORSES:

Julie offers full service consignment board. This includes board, training, marketing, showing horses to potential buyers, scheduling vettings etc. The farm offers the perfect set up for a prospective buyer to try a horse – there are full dressage and jump arenas, and a cross country field with questions from Starter-Intermediate, including a full water jump, banks, ditches, and many other fences.

Giant Red – AVAILABLE FOR LEASE TO PURCHASE

Giant Red (Giant Oak x Jester) is a 2013 16.3h Thoroughbred gelding. “Woody” is a very kind schoolmaster that is ready to show his next person the ropes. He was produced by a YR, and is a Preliminary winner with loads of experience. Woody took another YR around their first few Novices last summer; and just won a large OBN division at Bouckaert Farm with our working student, on his dressage score. Woody is the rare type of horse that you can learn on while being competitive in all 3 phases — he is quiet, honest, and takes a joke.

Fernhill For Treasure Z

Fernhill For Treasure Z (For Pleasure x Ehawee) is a 2018 17h Zangersheide gelding. “Treasure” is a real treasure. He is an eye catcher with a sweet personality. Treasure has a wonderful, smooth jump and has a lot of experience for his years. He has competed at jumper shows at WEC, Bruce’s Field, and Tryon through 1.15m, and has also been competing lately with our working student at some schooling shows (recently won a large dressage division at the Bouckaert Farm Schooling Show). Treasure also competed through the equivalent of our Novice level of eventing in Ireland prior to being imported, scoring a 27 in dressage and jumping clear in SJ & XC.

Reenmore Riley

Reenmore Riley (OBOS Quality x Harlequin Night) is a 2015 17.2h ISH gelding. Riley is a top hunter, jumper, and eventer; making him truly one of the most versatile horses we’ve had. He has successfully competed through 1.25m jumpers, and is a top Children’s hunter with countless wins on his resume. In addition, Riley has competed through the Modified level of eventing — he has had multiple wins, has never had a cross country jump penalty, and has had dressage scores as low as 25. Riley is one of the most fun and easy horses to jump, and he is happy to jump from any distance. He’s very well behaved on the ground and gets along well with other horses in turnout.

Fernhill C’est la Vie Z

Fernhill C’est la Vie Z (Connect x Blanca) is a 2017, 16.2h Zangersheide mare. V was competitive last year in the 7 year old (1.30/1.35m) jumper classes at WEC. She kicked off her season there this year, with great clear rounds in the 1.15 & 1.20m classes, and recently finished 3rd in the 1.30m at Bruce’s Field in May. V is a very versatile mare that has also competed successfully through Training level eventing and finished 3rd at the 2024 American Eventing Championships at BN. She is a beautiful mover and brave to the jumps.

Herkules 281

Herkules 281 (Hermes de Lux x Britt) is a 2016 Holsteiner gelding. Karl has successfully been competing at Training level with a YR. He has had tons of experience, including a win, at the equivalent of Prelim & 2* in England & Ireland, and has had dressage scores as low as 20. Recently, his rider has decided to make the switch to show jumping, so Karl has been focusing on that and showing her the ropes at 1.15m.
