CONSIGNMENT HORSES:

Julie offers full service consignment board. This includes board, training, marketing, showing horses to potential buyers, scheduling vettings etc. The farm offers the perfect set up for a prospective buyer to try a horse – there are full dressage and jump arenas, and a cross country field with questions from Starter-Intermediate, including a full water jump, banks, ditches, and many other fences.

Gold Twist (Coconut Grove x Silver & Gold) is a 2010 Trakehner/ Thoroughbred mare. “Goldie” has done a little bit of everything. She has been competitive through .95m jumpers, and has also foxhunted. Goldie is a scopey jumper, and does her changes.

Mac Creiche

Mac Creiche (City Wolf x Ailbe) is a 2015 16h Thoroughbred gelding. “Teddy” came into our program as a 5 year old after he retired from racing, and has since had wins at every level from BN-Training. He has been competed by multiple YR’s and amateurs over the years, and has had dressage scores as low as 24. Teddy’s only vice is that he is a mild cribber.

Fernhill Next Star

Fernhill Next Star (Cornet Obolensky x Van Meta) is a 2018 KWPN mare. “Mini” has successfully competed through 1.10m jumpers with tons of scope and ability to keep stepping up. She also just won her first event on her dressage score at Bouckaert HT. Mini is the easiest keeper — currently barefoot, perfect ground manners, gets along with mares or geldings in turnout — just sweet & easy to have in the barn.

Fernhill Colossus

Fernhill Colossus (Chacoa x Lady Alley) is a 2017 17h ISH gelding (54% blood). “Lio” has competed successfully through Novice level eventing. He also has experience in the jumper ring at venues such as WEC, Bruce’s Field, Poplar Place, and Chatt Hills, and he recently jumped successfully around his first 1.10m classes. Lio is a beautiful mover with 3 super gaits. He has excellent ground manners — loads easily, stands tied to the trailer, stands to be clipped, etc.

Fernhill Mister Corland

Fernhill Mister Corland (Corland x True Ella) is a 16.1h 2017 KWPN gelding. “Corland” is one of the best jumpers we’ve had in the barn. He stepped up to the 7 year old’s (1.30/1.35m) at WEC in February 2024, and was also Reserve Champion in the 1.20m Division for Week 6. Recently, he has been jumping clear in the 1.30m classes at Bruce’s Field, and also had a great round in the 1.35m Classic. Corland is the rare type of horse that is extremely careful, yet will jump from any distance and doesn’t get offended if his rider misses. He loads easily, stands tied, and is serious about taking a nap every morning. Corland traces back to Nimmerdor on the dam side, and is a full brother to Mick Haunhorst’s “Ireland”, who has been jumping Grand Prixs since he was an 8 year old.
